  • Service Advisor - Kevin O'Leary Opel in Clonmel

Kevin O’Leary Group requires a service advisor for our busy Clonmel branch.

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic person who has a minimum of 3-5 years experience as a service advisor in a busy main dealer workshop environment.  The service advisor will have responsibility for the day to day running of the workshop schedule and for front counter service activities.  The service advisor will report directly to the aftersales manager.  The role is located in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Candidates must:

  • Have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role in a main dealer workshop environment
  • Previous experience with the Opel brand, although not essential, would be a distinct advantage
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to deliver an excellent service to workshop customers and manage the daily work of a team of technicians
  • Be sales and profit-focused, with excellent communication and follow up skills, and an ability to manage time to deliver a prompt and comprehensive service to workshop customers
  • Be practical and organized, with strong administration skills
  • Have strong product knowledge, with a proven ability to understand retail, warranty and internal service sales processes
  • ADP/Kerridge knowledge and Vehicle Health Check (VHC) experience would be an advantage

Qualified Motor Technician - Kevin O'Leary Silversprings Ltd,

Kevin O’Leary Group, Silversprings, Cork is now seeking to recruit an experienced vehicle technician. Our busy workshop is equipped and developed to the highest standard. The successful candidate will join a strong aftersales team, committed to delivering an excellent service to our strong customer base.

Responsibilities include:

Identifying mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment to achieve ‘Right First Time Fix’
Communicating with the parts department to identify needed parts, and keeping the workshop manager and service advisor aware of progress
Diagnosing faults in line with 
brand process
Saving and tagging parts as appropriate
Road testing vehicles to identify faults and advice of any necessary repairs
Keeping abreast of technical product information bulletins
Maintaining a clean and neat workspace and adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards

The required candidate must:

Be a qualified technician 
Be skilled in all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing 
Be efficient and be capable of producing high-quality work consistently
Have excellent communication skills, capable of identifying and explaining additional work identified and capable of liaising with service advisors, parts advisors and customers, to ensure the highest standards of customer service
Have the ability to clearly complete job card write-ups, for both retail and warranty jobs, with a thorough understanding of brand warranty requirements, including backup documentation required

Accounts Assistant – Full/Part Time - Kevin O’Leary Group, Bandon, Co. Cork


The Accounts Assistant is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate recording of invoices and payments for approved invoices to vendors/creditors along with accounts receivable duties, responsible for debtors ledger and debtors control.  Maintain invoice files.  Complete other ad-hoc tasks assigned.  This role is based in our Bandon branch.

The Required Candidate should:

•         Have a minimum 12 months experience in a similar role
•         Either be a qualified accounting technician or be currently pursuing this qualification
•         Have strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
•         Be detail orientated with a strong 
follow-up commitment
•         Be organised with an ability to record information accurately and in a timely manner
•         Have strong analytical skills and computer literacy, including MS Office skills

 Education & Qualification:

• Candidate must be a qualified or part qualified accounting technician 

 Accounting Packages: 

• A knowledge of  Kerridge/ADP  DMS  is a strong advantage

 Reporting to: Financial Controller

Valetor/Car Cleaner - Kevin O'Leary Clonmel Ltd

Kevin O'Leary Clonmel are main Opel dealers with a workshop & a valet centre that have been equipped and developed to the very highest and most up to date standards in the motor trade. As a result of strong demand we are currently recruiting a car valetor to join our team here in Clonmel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the condition of all new and used vehicles delivered to the Dealership including cleanliness, documentation, keys etc.

• Wash and valet cars ensuring the highest dealership standards are adhered to.

• Inspect vehicles with sales/service person prior to customer handover.

• Assist in maintaining the dealership showrooms and ensuring it is clean and tidy.

• Maintain safe working practices and standards of the dealership.


 Minimum of 1-year experience in a valeting position is a pre-requisite
