Kevin O'Leary | Clonmel | Sales Manager Renault & Dacia

 

We have recently announced plans to open a Renault and Dacia Franchise at our dealership in Clonmel, this will be developed next to our current Opel Showroom. 

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced candidate to join our sales team. 

The successful candidate will be required to lead the sales team, to continuously deliver the highest level of satisfaction to our customers, and to continuously strive to meet sales targets and standards through the sales of new and used vehicles, finance products, insurance, warranty and accessories products. The sales manager will need to manage the relationship with the brand, manage targets, stock control, Monitor performance against Group KPIs  and report to the General Manager. 

Duties & Key Responsibilities:

This is a role requiring a high degree of working on initiative.

• Achieve volume sales of new & used cars and retain a target margin, work to Group KPIs. • Use an effective sales process for own vehicle sales and implement a management process • Maximise sales & profitability through customer satisfaction and retention • Report to the General Manager

The Required Candidate should: 

• Have excellent communication skills • Be enthusiastic, hardworking and committed to succeeding in a sales environment • Be organised with an ability to report information accurately and in a timely manner • Have a proven ability to hit and exceed monthly sales targets • Have a professional, courteous manner and the ability to deliver an excellent customer experience • Experience with a leading volume franchise is a distinct advantage, management experience is an advantage but not essential. 

Experience: A minimum 3 years experience in a competitive Vehicle Sales environment.

Benefits: Company Car, Basic+Commission, Highly Competitive Package, Uncapped Commission. 

Salary: €80,000 - €100,000 per annum

The successful candidate must:
• Have excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to learn and take on new tasks quickly and efficiently.
• Be practical and organized.
• Have an ability to work within a team, with the confidence to use initiative.
• Have an ability to learn product knowledge and gain an understanding of retail, warranty and internal workshop processes & procedures.
• Have a full clean drivers licence

Do you have what it takes?

Can you- 
Identify mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment to achieve ‘Right First Time Fix?
Communicate with the parts department to identify needed parts, and keeping the workshop manager and service advisor aware of progress?
Diagnose faults in line with brand process?
Save and tag parts as appropriate?
Road test vehicles to identify faults and advise of any necessary repairs?
Keep abreast of technical product information bulletins?
Maintain a clean and neat workspace and adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards?

The required candidate must:
Be a qualified technician 
Be skilled in all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing 
Be efficient and be capable of producing high-quality work consistently
Have excellent communication skills, capable of identifying and explaining additional work identified and capable of liaising with service advisors, parts advisors and customers, to ensure the highest standards of customer service
Have the ability to clearly complete job card write-ups, for both retail and warranty jobs, with a thorough understanding of brand warranty requirements, including back-up documentation required.

We currently have a vacancy for the right individual to join our Sales Graduate Programme at Kevin O’Leary Bandon. This programme offers outstanding training, development and progression opportunities and will result in the awarding of a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Sales. This is an “Earn and Learn” model allowing you the opportunity to work with and learn from the best in the industry while also following a structured programme over two years where you will learn the fundamentals of Sales applicable to a wide range of industries.

On successful graduation you will be eligible for a position as a Sales Consultant with on-target earnings of €60,000 plus benefits, with further career development opportunities as you gain more experience in the industry.

Requirements:

  • Hold a current full clean driving licence

  • Possess excellent communication, presentation and customer skills

  • Skilled in all essential IT and social media

  • Be highly motivated and self-driven

  • Have the ability to work on own initiative

  • Have the ability to complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
